This is a letter sent to the past, from me after some time at work, to me just before starting university.

So if I had to write a short letter, these are the points it would contain:

  • Go deeper. You had your toes in pools that became very interesting in future. Cryptocurrency, deep learning, general computer science, web development. Have the faith in what you're interested in.
  • Be less angry and dramatic. You're the only one who had to suffer through that.
  • Be more picky about the people you spend time with. Convergence to your tribe eventually happened (and is still ongoing), but a lot of time was wasted.
  • I can't say whether you should say 'yes' or 'no'. With more 'no's, you would have been less tired out, but you would not have found as many fun things to dive into. Just watch yourself more often.
  • Start building a Plan B earlier. Having it present gives you the optionality to say no to commitments.
  • Buy more Bitcoin and Ethereum. Do it. It's your fault that you still need to work.
